Florida is for sunny, warm and pleasant vacation. The “Sunshine State” with approximately 14 million inhabitants and a total area of about 150,000 km ², is not nearly as big as Germany.

In central Florida there are only a few large cities. Orlando or Tallahassee (the capital of Florida) are exceptions. Most people have settled and because of tourism in the immediate coastal regions. In the big cities Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa or even Jackson ville today live far represent more than 5 million inhabitants, the most of the population.
